A “Post-Purchase Scenario” allows you to present customers with additional offers immediately after they complete their checkout. This strategy can help increase your average order value by encouraging customers to add another item to their purchase. The post-purchase offer is seamlessly integrated into the checkout process, providing a smooth and convenient shopping experience for customers.
In your Shopify admin, navigate to Settings -> Checkout. Under the post-purchase page options, select PickyStory as your Post-purchase page to enable the feature.
Open the PickyStory app and go to Scenarios. Click on Create under the Post-purchase scenario section to start setting up your offer.
Select the type of discount you want to offer (e.g., percentage off, fixed amount off) and specify the discount value. This step allows you to decide the best incentive for encouraging additional purchases.
Navigate to the Design tab to configure your post-purchase scenario. Here, you can enable or disable a timer and set the duration for how long the post-purchase offer will be available. Customize the call-to-action text to align with your brand messaging and make the offer more compelling.
Choose the Call-to-action text.
Once you have configured the scenario and are satisfied with the settings, click Publish to make the post-purchase offer live in your store.
Your post-purchase offer is now active and ready to engage customers after they complete their checkout, helping you boost your order value!
