A “Spend X Get Y” scenario is a promotional strategy that incentivizes customers to spend more by offering rewards once they reach a predefined spending goal. This scenario allows you to set different rewards based on the cart value, such as free shipping, complimentary gifts, or discounts, thereby encouraging higher purchases. You can also configure different rewards for different countries, tailoring offers to specific markets.
This feature is available when using PickyCart, so make sure PickyCart is enabled before setting up this scenario.
Navigate to the “Scenarios” section of the platform and click on "Edit" or "Create" under the Spend X Get Y Scenario to begin the setup.
Within the scenario editing interface, select “Country” to choose the specific countries where the Spend X Get Y rewards will apply. Click on the “+” icon to create different setups for various countries if needed.
Click on the “New Tier” button to start adding a new tier to your Spend X Get Y setup. On the left side of the tier setup panel, specify the monetary amount customers need to spend to qualify for the reward.
On the right side, select the specific reward that customers will receive upon reaching the spending threshold. Available options may include free shipping, a complimentary gift, or a discount on their order.
For the “Free Shipping” option, select the specific shipping profile for the free shipping to apply, or use PickyStory’s global free shipping profile.
Navigate to the “Design” tab within the editing interface to access customization options. Modify labels associated with the reward, general instructions, and color settings for the progress bar to align with your brand or campaign aesthetics.
Once all desired adjustments have been made, click on the “Publish” button to activate the updated scenario. Your Spend X Get Y scenario is now live, and customers can engage with it!
To include multiple tiers within the Spend X Get Y scenario, repeat steps 2 and 3 for each additional tier you want to add. This allows you to create tiered incentive structures with varying spending thresholds and corresponding rewards, offering more complex promotions to drive higher cart values.
By setting up a “Spend X Get Y” scenario, you can effectively encourage higher cart values and enhance customer engagement through targeted promotions.
