How to Access and View Subscription Contracts
Learn how to access and manage Subscription Contracts in the Subscriptions app to efficiently handle recurring orders and customer details.
What are Subscription Contracts?
Subscription Contracts represent the agreements made between your store and your customers for recurring purchases. They provide a detailed overview of each subscription, including product details, billing intervals, order history, and customer information. This feature allows you to easily manage and review all active and past subscription agreements.
Steps to Access Subscription Contracts
Step 1: Navigate to the Contracts Section
Click on "Contracts" in the sidebar menu. This will take you to the main Contracts page, where all subscription contracts with your customers are listed.
Step 2: Browse and Search Contracts
Use the search bar at the top to find a specific contract by entering keywords, such as a subscription ID or customer name.
The Contracts page displays a list of all active and past subscriptions, sorted by creation date. Each entry includes the Created On date, Subscription ID, the associated Product, the Price, when is the Next Delivery, the Customer name and the Status of the Subscription.
Step 3: View Contract Details
Click on any contract from the list to see a detailed view of that specific subscription. The contract details will open in a new panel on the right and include the following information:
1. Details Section
Product Name: The name of the product in the subscription.
Variant: The specific product variant (e.g., size, color) subscribed to.
Quantity: The number of units in the subscription.
Price: The cost per unit.
Shipping Interval: How often the product is shipped (e.g., every 15 days).
Billing Interval: How often the customer is charged (e.g., every 15 days).
Next Shipping Date: The upcoming date when the product will be shipped.
Next Billing Date: The next date when the customer will be billed.
2. Orders Section
Order Date: The date when an order under the subscription was placed.
Order ID: A clickable ID that links to the detailed Shopify's order page.
Price: The total price of that order.
Status: The fulfillment status of the order.
3. Customer Information
Customer Name and Email: The contact details of the customer.
Shipping Address: The address where the product is shipped.
Payment Method: The customer's payment details, including the card type and expiration date.
Shopify Link: A direct link to view the order page of the product.
